Precinct Properties

Market leading property development firm, engaged Warren and Mahoney to design new office spaces in the HSBC tower, for completion in mid-2023. Knowing that a high level of creative and technical expertise would be required, Warren and Mahoney engaged Fletcher Design early in the design process to collaborate on the design of completely bespoke banquette seating elements, which were deployed throughout the space.

Proud to have Fletcher Design Landscape and Perch seating featured in the global engineering consultancy company: Arup Auckland – NZ offices. Driven by Architectural Interiors: Unispace. this project is in line for achieving Living Building Challenge accreditation – one of the world’s most stringent sustainability standards.

Big shout out to STACK Interiors for their awesome mahi on Vector Limited’s new Auckland workplace. It’s great to see the unique Fletcher Design Perch range continue to be embraced by the modern workplace environment, and the Landscape modular range (now 20yrs old!!) still going strong as a very versatile seating typology aka “The Swiss Army Knife of Seating”.

Hamilton Airport

Operating since 1935, Hamilton Airport serves over 700,000 customers per year. When the need arose for seismic resilience work to take place, the Airport took this opportunity to completely refurbish and revitalise the internal space. The primary challenge was to better reflect the Airport’s important role as a ‘gateway to the region’ and to offer a more welcoming, functional, and culturally resonant customer experience.

2 Degrees Auckland

Designed by Warren and Mahoney the new head office for 2 Degrees features the game-changing Perch seating. Deployed in a transitional space, Perch’s ‘no- commitment’ hybrid seating design encourages casual chats, social and culture building, as well as providing a quick brain and body break when moving between zones. With its small footprint, Perch makes excellent use of a space that would otherwise be limited to foot traffic only.

Says WAM lead designer Asha Page of the project:
“We couldn’t imagine anything else going in this space. It is perfect!”

Auckland Art Gallery

Like many Gallery spaces, its furniture needs to serve a number of different purposes. We spent a morning with photographer Simon Wilson capturing some brilliant shots of our Portrait seating featured in the busy foyer of the Gallery, and some of the more quiet contemplative spaces as well. A sculptural aesthetic is a strong feature of this design, a characteristic that ripples through the entire portfolio.

ASB North Wharf

Perch Seating looking right at home in ASB’s new Auckland, North Wharf offices. Comprising seven levels this award-winning building showcases the best of environmental design and innovative workplace solutions.

Foodstuffs North Island

Roughly the size of eight rugby fields, Foodstuffs North Island’s Headquarters and Distribution centre is the largest of its type in New Zealand. Fletcher Design were engaged to provide a unique, New Zealand-made solution supporting the collaborative, agile design of the Foodstuffs workplace. Perch is utilised extensively throughout the building’s atrium, supporting culture-building and client engagement. With high- and low-back versions used, Myst creates a variety of active collaboration and quiet/focus spaces throughout the premises. Other Fletcher Design solutions used in this project include the mobile Senna Stool and Realm Pod.

Auckland Diocesan School for Girls

Having worked with Auckland Dio on previous projects we were excited to be able to provide a seating solution for the foyer of their stunning new Performing Arts Centre.
