Like many Gallery spaces, its furniture needs to serve a number of different purposes. We spent a morning with photographer Simon Wilson capturing some brilliant shots of our Portrait seating featured in the busy foyer of the Gallery, and some of the more quiet contemplative spaces as well. A sculptural aesthetic is a strong feature of this design, a characteristic that ripples through the entire portfolio.

Perch Seating looking right at home in ASB’s new Auckland, North Wharf offices. Comprising seven levels this award-winning building showcases the best of environmental design and innovative workplace solutions.

Roughly the size of eight rugby fields, Foodstuffs North Island’s Headquarters and Distribution centre is the largest of its type in New Zealand. Fletcher Design were engaged to provide a unique, New Zealand-made solution supporting the collaborative, agile design of the Foodstuffs workplace. Perch is utilised extensively throughout the building’s atrium, supporting culture-building and client engagement. With high- and low-back versions used, Myst creates a variety of active collaboration and quiet/focus spaces throughout the premises. Other Fletcher Design solutions used in this project include the mobile Senna Stool and Realm Pod.
Regarded as one of the “first built examples of a post-Covid workplace” the Unispace Auckland Studio re-invents the traditional office space by combining the comforts of home and collaborative nature of the physical office. Landscape v2 seating features throughout the Studio in various locations enhancing comfort in reception and social areas; Perch works its magic in the agile workplace area encouraging productivity, collaboration, and innovation.
